8. MONUMENTAL TOMB KAPLLAN PASHA
The Monumental Tomb of Kapllan Pasha is a cultural monument of the first category declared by Decision No 609, date 24.05.1948.
The Monumental Tomb of Kapllan Pasha which is located in the historical center of Tirana was built in the early XIX century. It is built with carved stones, has in plan octagonal shape, consisting of an arkade over columns that is supported on a low basis. The columns are made of stone, and placed also on stone bases and capitals with plant decor on the surface. Wall on arkade ends flat with a frame and today has no roof, but in the past it may have been.
The tomb is distinguished for the stylish archade and elaborated details.
