Dal 2 al 4 luglio si è tenuto a Parigi il terzo Annual Meeting del progetto europeo H2020 ENOUGH – European food chain supply to reduce GHG emissions by 2050, seguito, il 5 luglio, da un workshop che ha coinvolto aziende impegnate nella decarbonizzazione delle filiere alimentari
In quattro giorni di fruttuosa attività, gli oltre 50 partecipanti, in rappresentanza dei 31 partner e dell’Advisory Council, dopo aver visitato i laboratori dell’Istituto nazionale di ricerca francese per l’agricoltura, l’alimentazione e l’ambiente (INRAE) ad Antony, si sono dedicati alla condivisione dei risultati finora ottenuti e alla pianificazione dei lavori previsti per l’ultimo anno del progetto.
CNR-ITC ha contribuito presentando i risultati del modello top-down (high level) per la quantificazione delle emissioni della food chain nei paesi europei. Come WP leader delle attività di field test delle tecnologie per la sostenibilità della food chain, ha inoltre contribuito all’organizzazione della sessione di lavoro per la massimizzazione dell’impatto dei risultati sperimentali dei 21 dimostratori nonché all’industrial workshop, che ha coinvolto numerose aziende del settore alimentare e delle macchine per la food e la cold chain, presenti o collegate da remoto.
L’istituto si è distinto anche nell’ambito delle attività di disseminazione, comunicazione e produzione scientifica: il giovane ricercatore Francesco Fabris, infatti, è stato selezionato tra i membri del consorzio e premiato per aver pubblicato il maggior numero di articoli relativi a Enough su rivista o presentati a conferenza, ben 6 come primo autore e 8 come coautore.

https://youtu.be/kciIyU6u6jA[:en]The third Annual Meeting of the EU H2020 project ENOUGH – European food chain supply to reduce GHG emissions by 2050 took place in Paris from 2nd to 4th July; an Industry Workshop followed on 5th July, involving firms operating towards food chains decarbonisation of the food chain.
After visiting INRAE (the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment) laboratories in Antony, abut 50 participants, representing the 31 ENOUGH partners and the Advisory Council, shared results and planned activities for the last year of the project.
CNR-ITC presented results from the high-level top-down model estimating food chain emissions in European Countries. As leader of activities related to field demonstration of technologies for the decarbonisation of the food chain, CNR-ITC contributed to both work session and industrial workshop, highlighting results of the 21 demonstrators.
Finally, post-doc researcher Francesco Fabris was awarded for his intense activity in publications: 6 ENOUGH papers as first author and 8 as co-author published at International Conferences or Journals!
