Accessibility and Design for all, according to the European approach called Design4All, to the americanone called Universal Design and to the ISO Task Group TC 59/SC 16 “Accessibility and usability of built environments”, involves specific characteristics related to the built environment and typological and technological innovations related to the characteristics themselves. A built environment designed for all means an easy use of spaces and services to as many users as possible, regardless of their age, their abilities and functional limitations.
