PROJECT TEMPUS FINAL CONFERENCE -BRINGING NEW LIFE TO THE ADRIATIC PORTS!
PROJECT TEMPUS – Temporary uses as a trigger for the enhancement of the tangible and (in) tangible heritage, natural and cultural, of the port cities of the Adriatic area.
Fil rouge: TEMPUS, acronym for TEMPorary USes as start-up actions to enhance port (in)tangible heritage, is a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg V A Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Program. The main objective of the project is the experimentation of temporary uses as a trigger for the enhancement of the tangible and intangible, natural and cultural heritage of the port cities of the Adriatic area.
Thanks to social activation, cultural enhancement and the active involvement of local actors, TEMPUS promotes temporary reuse in three pilot cities – Ravenna, Solin, Rijeka – with the aim of triggering new long-term regeneration strategies. Temporary use refers to the space and time of the places of the city: with this tool it is possible to intervene on a building and / or its areas of relevance by making agreements with the property to promote a spatial redevelopment through light and targeted interventions for the inclusion of specific activities, with a limited duration in time.
