ITC-CNR Quality Mark for Reinforcements and Adhesives/Base Coats intended to be used in ETICS

Reinforcements and adhesives intended to be used as components of External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems – ETICS are not required to demonstrate compliance to product standards, whether national or harmonised at European or national level.
The Quality Mark awarded by ITC-CNR for Reinforcements intended to be used in ETICS and the Quality Mark for Adhesives/Base Coats intended to be used in ETICS provides manufacturers of reinforcements and adhesives with a qualification tool in order to provide the market with reliable and verified information about the features and performances of such products. It is a voluntary technical tool involving a prior verification of the features and performances of the products and, above all, the start-up of a system of continuous surveillance of the product.
In this context, ITC-CNR acts as third-party “Certification Body” on a voluntary basis and, for the same purpose, it also acts as “Inspection Body” and “Testing Body”.
