Project followed in cooperation with the ITC headquarter of Rome, HOST is a European project involving Italy, France, and United Kingdom in the development of a software platform aimed at providing elderly people (notably those living alone and with health problems) with social networks and support services. Within the European Programme Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) HOST aims at providing elderly people living in social housing dwellings with a set of technological services easy to use, which enables them to maintain their autonomy as long as possible and at the same time enhances social inclusion. http://www.host-aal.eu/
