L’ “AT” è il risultato di un accertamento complesso che prevede la realizzazione di più prove e indagini, che portano alla formulazione di un giudizio tecnico favorevole circa l’idoneità all’impiego di materiali, componenti e sistemi destinati all’edilizia. Tale attività viene svolta nell’ambito della rete europea dell’UEAtc (Union Européenne pour l’Agrément technique dans la construction), di cui l’Istituto è stato uno dei fondatori nei lontani anni ’60.

The Technical Approval is the result of a complex assessment process which provides for the execution of different tests and investigations leading to a favourable technical assessment of the fitness for use of materials, components and systems to be used in building. This activity is carried out in the framework of the European Network of UEAtc (European Union for technical approval in construction), of which the Institute was one of the founder-members in the 60s.
